Missile Attack on the Ekol Logistics Distribution Center: What Happened and How We Continue to Operate

On the night of July 19, 2026, a massive missile attack severely damaged the Ekol Logistics distribution center located in the AMTEL logistics complex. It was one of the key facilities of our warehouse infrastructure: hundreds of shipments left it every day for stores, pharmacies, businesses, and households across Ukraine.

As a result of the strike and the large-scale fire that followed, the warehouse was completely destroyed. The fire engulfed warehouse buildings with a total area of about 100,000 sq. m. The facility stored everyday consumer goods and our clients’ cargo intended to meet the needs of citizens and businesses throughout Ukraine.

What Matters Most to Us: People

In the first hours after the attack, our priority was not to assess the scale of destruction or count the losses. The priority was to make sure everyone was alive and receiving the help they needed. Material losses can be recovered, but human life cannot. This is the principle that guided us that night and guides us every day.

Our Gratitude to the Rescuers

Rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine worked at the site all night long: more than 200 specialists and 73 units of equipment, including aircraft. They fought the fire in extremely difficult conditions, risking their own lives.

We sincerely thank every rescuer for their courage, determination, and professionalism, as well as for the enormous effort involved in dealing with the aftermath of the strike. It is your dedication that holds this country together.

A Strike on Civilian Infrastructure

This is yet another deliberate russian attack on Ukraine’s civilian and logistics infrastructure. The targets were not military facilities but warehouses filled with food, household goods, and cargo meant to reach ordinary people. Logistics is the circulatory system of the economy, and that is exactly why the enemy is trying to destroy it. But a destroyed building does not mean a halted operation.

Ekol Logistics Keeps Working

Despite the losses, we continue to fulfill our commitments to our clients and partners. Right now, our team is:

  • redistributing cargo flows to other warehouse sites and facilities within our partner network;
  • staying in constant contact with clients whose cargo was stored at the destroyed warehouse and providing them with all the necessary information;
  • working to restore the full cycle of operations as quickly as possible.

We understand that behind every shipment there are real people and businesses counting on us. And we will do everything we can to minimize the impact of this attack on our clients.

Resilience Matters

Over the years of the full-scale war, we have learned the most important lesson: logistics in Ukraine is not just about routes, warehouses, and delivery deadlines. It is about the ability to keep working no matter what. About a team that never gives up. About clients and partners who trust us even in the hardest of times.

Because it is in the most difficult moments that resilience matters most.

We stood firm in 2022. We will stand firm now.
