Ekol’s first surveillance audit: confirmation of high standards of quality and occupational health and safety

In October 2025, the logistics company Ekol successfully passed its first surveillance audit for compliance with the international standards ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System). The audit was conducted by the international certification organization Bureau Veritas Certification, which has extensive experience and is a world leader in conformity assessment.

The results confirmed that Ekol Logistics consistently implements the highest standards of quality and safety management in its activities — from transport logistics and customs clearance to warehousing and distribution. Bureau Veritas auditors noted the well-coordinated work of the team, openness to cooperation, and an effective integrated management system that ensures stability and control at all stages of the logistics chain.

During the audit, the experts analyzed not only internal processes but also the interaction between departments, the effectiveness of communications, risk management, and the use of digital quality control tools. Among Ekol’s strengths, the auditors particularly noted the transparency of operations, the clear structure of procedures, and the implementation of digital solutions for real-time monitoring of logistics processes.

As a result, two minor non-conformities were identified, which the Ekol Logistics team promptly eliminated within the specified time frame. The auditors also provided a number of recommendations for further improvement of the integrated management system, which the company plans to take into account in the near future.

«We are grateful to the representatives of Bureau Veritas for their professional approach and constructive advice. It is important for us not only to comply with ISO standards, but also to continuously improve the processes that directly affect the quality of service to our customers and the safety of our employees. Everything we do, from route optimization to the implementation of new IT solutions, has a common goal: to ensure stability, efficiency, and trust,» said the head of Ekol’s quality department.

Passing a surveillance audit is an important step in maintaining the international certificates obtained by the company. For us, this is not just a formal procedure, but also an opportunity to assess how management systems actually work in a dynamic logistics environment where accuracy, speed, and safety are crucial.

Confirmation of compliance with ISO standards demonstrates Ekol’s responsibility to its customers, partners, and team, and strengthens confidence in the company as a reliable logistics operator that combines European quality standards with local experience.

The successful completion of the first surveillance audit is further proof that Ekol is systematically developing a culture of safety, quality, and innovation, while remaining a partner that can be relied upon in any logistics situation.
