Ekol Logistics is digitizing its document workflow
About the company
Ekol Logistics
Ekol Logistics is an international logistics company that provides comprehensive solutions in the field of transportation, storage, customs clearance, and distribution. Every year, the company performs more than 70,000 shipments.
Since March 2024, Ekol Logistics has started digitalizing document flow in freight transportation using the “Vchasno.EDO” service, and since June 2025 – testing “Vchasno.TTN”. This made it possible to automate the circulation of transportation documents and significantly accelerate settlements with clients.
In this case, we share the experience of participation in an experimental project with electronic TTN and preparation for the mandatory transition to e-TTN in Ukraine, which is planned for 2027. More about this project at the link.
Individual Approach
Challenges
With the growth of shipment volumes, Ekol Logistics faced the need for large-scale digitalization of document flow.
Main challenges:
- Large volume of documents in transportation and the need for their fast processing
- Partial dependence on paper processes
- Lack of a unified standard of working with documents among clients and carriers
- Manual operations that created additional workload
- Preparation for the mandatory transition to e-TTN in Ukraine
We already used electronic document management to work with clients and partners, however, the consignment note remained the last paper element in the transportation process.
Individual Approach
Goals of cooperation
Ekol Logistics together with the “Vchasno” service set the following tasks:
- Fully digitalize document flow in transportation
- Automate document exchange between all participants of the process
- Reduce the time of document processing and approval
- Prepare the business for the transition to e-TTN in 2027
- Build a unified ecosystem of working with documents
Achieving these goals creates the basis for a scalable digital logistics model and further integration with market standards of e-TTN.
Successful Cooperation
Solution
1. Implementation of electronic document management (“Vchasno.EDO”)
The first stage was the implementation of the “Vchasno.EDO” service, which made it possible to:
- transfer into electronic format:
- orders
- contracts
- acts of provided services
- connect more than 1000 carriers to the system
- achieve 96% digital shipments
This became the foundation for further digitalization of logistics processes.
2. Testing electronic TTN (“Vchasno.TTN”)
Since June 2025, Ekol Logistics together with “Vchasno” started testing the “Vchasno.TTN” service within the experimental project.
Key stages included:
- setting up new business processes
- integration of the service with internal systems (WMS, TMS)
- automation of creation and exchange of TTN
- training of employees and drivers
3. Integration and automation of processes
A full integration between systems was implemented:
- WMS and TMS of Ekol
- services “Vchasno.EDO” and “Vchasno.TTN”
This made it possible to:
- automatically create documents
- transfer them between parties without manual intervention
- reduce the number of errors
- accelerate the processing of shipments
4. Work with all participants of the logistics process
Carriers:
- provided with tools for electronic signature
- received access to the mobile application “Vchasno.TTN”
- completed training
Clients:
- business processes and roles were agreed
- data exchange was configured
- QES was implemented
Ekol team:
- training was conducted
- technical support was created
- change support was ensured
Project features
- Ekol simultaneously acts in three roles:
- consignor
- carrier
- consignee
- The project covers all links of the logistics chain
- Implementation took place in the format of an experimental project together with “Vchasno”
successful collaboration
Result
The joint project of Ekol Logistics and “Vchasno” made it possible to achieve:
- 97% of shipments in digital format
- full automation of most documents
- significant reduction of processing time
- acceleration of financial settlements
- reduction of manual work
- increase of process transparency
Digitalization of document flow became not only a tool of optimization, but also a foundation for further development of logistics processes.
The implemented solutions make it possible to scale operations, adapt faster to market changes, and ensure stable interaction with clients and partners.
The obtained experience makes it possible for Ekol Logistics not only to prepare for new regulatory requirements, but also to form approaches to digital logistics that gradually become the industry standard.

Conclusion
The experience of cooperation between Ekol Logistics and “Vchasno” demonstrates that the transition to e-TTN is not just the implementation of a separate tool, but a transformation of the entire logistics model.
Successful implementation of such a transition is based on several key factors: early start and proactive position, partnership with a technological provider, system integration, team training, and launching solutions through pilot projects before scaling.
As a result, digitalization of document flow is already becoming the market standard today, and companies that start this path earlier receive a tangible competitive advantage.
