Multimodal Logistics Specialist
office Kyiv, Polyova St., 24D, BC "Grand Step"
Key Responsibilities:
- Cooperate with the commercial team: receive transportation requests, ensure timely and efficient procurement of logistics services, and provide regular feedback;
- Coordinate with the company’s agents and partners in sea, rail, air, and road transportation;
- Plan and organize the full multimodal transportation cycle in line with customer requirements;
- Monitor every stage of transportation and ensure efficient logistics solutions across Europe, Asia, and other regions;
- Search for and engage new partners, as well as regularly monitor rates, routes, and transportation conditions;
- Resolve operational issues arising during transportation in real time;
- Request and coordinate all necessary documentation required for the full transportation cycle;
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, international standards, and company safety requirements.
Our Expectations:
- Higher education, preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
- At least 2 years of successful experience in organizing multimodal transportation and building efficient logistics processes;
- Practical experience working with partners in container, air, rail, and road transportation across Europe, Asia, and other regions;
- Good understanding of international standards and specific requirements related to multimodal freight transportation, as well as pricing and rate-setting principles;
- English or Polish language skills sufficient for professional communication would be an advantage;
- Practical experience working with 1C 8, preferably with logistics-related modules;
- Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment, make timely decisions, and communicate efficiently with partners and colleagues;
- Motivation to develop professionally and continuously expand knowledge and expertise in logistics.
